We’re thrilled to announce that our work has been handpicked for the Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) website, featured alongside standout examples in their new digital AccessAbility site. As one of the Canadian design community’s most trusted resources, RGD highlights projects that move accessibility forward and our case study for Community Care Durham (CCD) is now one of them.
CCD is an amazing community program that provides all kinds of essential community supports such as Meals on Wheels, Assisted Living, Adult day programs, Community Food Box and so much more.
CCD not only needed to have their website redesigned and developed to meet accessibility standards, but they also needed ongoing support to ensure that their website remains accessible in order to meet both their clients needs and the Accessibility for Ontario with Disabilities Act (AODA). It was important that the website was designed in a way that it could be easily navigated by both caregivers and clients, in order to obtain these essential services.
Over the last 10+ years our team has actively grown and developed the advanced skills in order to become experts in the website accessibility space. We are so proud that MBD was given the opportunity to guide them through the whole website accessibility process from design, to development, and then provide them with ongoing monitoring and auditing support by an IAAP Certified Specialist led service.
